Deputy Energy Minister commissions 100-kilowatt Mini Grid in Sahn

Deputy Minister of Energy, Dr. Eldred Taylor has over the weekend commissioned the Sahn Mini Grid in Pujehun District, the largest so far in the Rural Electrification project. Dr. Eldred Taylor said the government was determined to fulfil Pillars 3 and 4 of the New Direction Manifesto.

Paramount Chief of Malen Chiefdom,PC Brima Victor Kebbie,said the day was historic and  that the people  of Sahn appreciates  the  social and economic benefits that electricity would bring to the community. He spoke about the newly tertiary institution which needed electricity for full efficiency and plans to construct a standard hotel to enhance tourism and the local economy.

Gbondapi, Blama Massaquoi and Kpaa will benefit from the next phase of mini grid in the Pujehun district.
