Sierra Leone’s High Commissioner to The Gambia, H.E. Martha Kanagbo, presented her Letters of Credence to His Excellency Adama Barrow, President of the Republic of The Gambia during a grand ceremony organized at State House in Banjul.
The High Commissioner was received in audience by His Excellency the President following the presentation of the Letters of Credence. During the ceremony, High Commissioner Martha Kanagbo conveyed the good wishes of His Excellency Brig. Rtd. Dr. Julius Maada Bio, President of the Republic of Sierra Leone to His Excellency the president of the Republic of The Gambia. High Commissioner Kanagbo expressed hope for the strengthening and concretization of diplomatic relations between the two countries. She spoke about the relationship between Sierra Leone and The Gambia which dated back to the colonial era.
While congratulating her, President Adama Barrow wished her success during her tour of duty.
