SLANGO Endorses Afrimoney’s Commitment to Innovative

The National Coordinator of the Sierra Leone Association of Non-Governmental Organizations (SLANGO), Alice Nenneh James has expressed delight at what she described as a “commitment to innovation” brought by Sierra Leone’s most efficient digital mobile money solution, Afrimoney.

The SLANGO Coordinator was among over fifty (50) Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) present at the third Afrimoney “Chop and Chat” corporate dinner for NGOs held at the New Brookfields Hotel on Wednesday, 16th October 2024. The event was also part of Afrimoney’s broader campaign, targeting various categories of existing and potential customers on its operations, products and services. The “Chop and Chat” session equally provided a platform for constructive engagement between NGO representatives and Afrimoney – underscoring the company’s unwavering commitment to listen, dialogue and address the concerns of customers.

Afrimoney Chief Executive Officer, Martison Obeng – Agyei said Afrimoney prioritizes the relationship it has with customers as a sure way to build confidence and trust through a feedback mechanism that benefits all.

“Our first commitment is to you our customers…. we are here to tell you what we do so we can hear from you and then find ways to better our lot. We are committed to making this relationship work…”

Africell’s Chief Executive Officer, Shadi Al Gerjawi shared some real-life experiences as an Afrimoney subscriber – detailing the benefits derived through the platform’s seamless transaction.

Other notable speakers at the event include the Development Secretary, Peter Sam- Gbraka who said Afrimoney’s innovative approach to providing access to digital financial services is well aligned with the fifth pillar in the Government of Sierra Leone’s big five development priorities.

The event was climaxed by a question and answer and session.
