Following the committal of the Bill entitled: "The Child Rights Act of 2024" to the Legislative Committee for further scrutiny, the Office of the Clerk of Parliament is inviting members of the public to submit position papers on the said Bill before enactment by Parliament.

Therefore, Parliament is soliciting position papers from the general public including Ministries, Departments and Agencies of Government, UNICEF, and other international and local child rights organizations to the Chairman of the Legislative Committee against close of business on Friday 08/11/2024 at 3:00 PM.

Child Rights Organizations and interested persons are expected to adhere to this very important call, given the sensitivity and significance of the said Bill.
